

Dhammika Attygalle was elected President of the Automobile Association of Ceylon (AAC) with a majority of nine votes at a hotly contested election in Colombo yesterday.
Attygalle bagged 112 votes while Dr. Vijaya Corea, the other contender for the top slot, polled 103 votes.
In a message shortly after his victory, Attygalle, the President-elect for 2009/10, pledged to work with profound commitment to serve members and for the development of the activities of AAC.
