A brother of the First Lady, Mrs. Shiranthi Rajapaksa, is to be posted to the Sri Lanka Mission in Vienna, authoritative foreign ministry sources said yesterday.
There was no word on his qualifications except that he had been living and working in the UK for some time. Official sources also confirmed that a senior military officer, Major General Jagath Dias, is being appointed to the No. 2 slot in Sri Lanka’s embassy in Germany.
