A 24-year-old suspect who along with three others is suspected to have killed the husband of his mistress was arrested by the Wattala Police within three days if the incident.

The murder was committed on June 19. The victim was identified as 49-year-old Joseph, a well to do businessman of Old Dispaensary Road, Weliamuna Wattala. He was hacked to death while asleep in his house.

Following investigations conducted by IP Lucky Randeniya the 27-year-old wife of the slain businessman was first arrested and on a statement made by her the 24-year-old main suspect and three others were arrested.
