Dr. J. M. Wickremaarachchi, coordinator Cocklear Implant Programme, who attended on him, has recommended an immediate Cocklear Implant Surgery. It would cost nearly Rs. 1,525,000 (one million five hundred and twenty five thousand) and should be borne by the patient.
Morawaka appeals to generous donors to contribute financially to cover the huge sum needed for the surgery as he had no other income other than his salary.
