The Womens’ and Child Welfare Ministry’s decision to remove 76 women hostellers of the 176 attached to the Biyagama Free Trade Zone, had been revoked following the intervention of the Inter Trade Zone Employees Association

The Association’s General Secretary, Janaka Adikari said that following fruitful talks held by the Association with the Ministry Secretary, Minister’s Private Secretary and the hostel management, the matter was settled. It was also decided to improve the conditions at the hostel.
