Minister Nimal Siripala
de Silva was seen on the TV channels saying that all Government servants
who obtained employment under this government should vote for the
government. Does this mean that appointments in the public service is a
bribe by the government? It would appear so, as appointment letters are
handed over by politicians, right from the President down to an ordinary
MP. No wonder the public service is corrupt and inefficient.Manel D.
