The Annual General Meeting of The United Professionals Group followed by a fellowship dinner took place at The Capri Club, Colombo, recently. The new office bearers for 2009 to 2010 were duly elected at the meeting. Upali Perera - President, Rasin Senaratne - Vice President, Upali Wijesekera -Vice President, C. Ramachandra - Hony. Secretary, Tony Jayasekera - Asst. Secy, Hussein Hashim - Hony. Treasurer. After the meeting, Leader of the Opposition, Ranil Wickremesinghe addressed the members and answered their questions. Others present were Karu Jayasuriya, Tissa Attanayake, Ravi Karunanayake and Dayasiri Jayasekera. |
