Wesley out to prove their worth in Division I rugby
Wesley College will get the taste of playing A Division rugby after a long lapse when they scrum down against Isipatana College, in the second semi final of the Milo Schools Knockout Rugby Championships at the Royal Sports Complex, this evening.

All eyes will be on Wesley who excelled in Group B of the league rugby tournament and won it this season. But their task today will be a huge challenge, given the fact that they are up against a side which is looking at redeeming some of their lost prestige. Isipatana haven’t fared that well this season and are going all out to make the final.

The winner of this fixture will meet S. Thomas’ in the final, scheduled for July 18.

In a Premier Trophy semi final fixture played yesterday at the Royal College Sports Complex, C. W. W. Kannangara beat Lumbini 27-22 to book a berth in the final.
