Colombo Additional Magistrate Ravindra Premaratne yesterday allowed an application by the Military Police to order the Commissioner of Labour to submit to Court a list of 150 army deserters engaged in civilian jobs.

Sgt. Jayamanne of Military Police Head Quarters, Narahenpita filing the application, submitted that Labour Department inspections had revealed that some army deserters had been engaged by various private sector employers. Some employed deserters are entitled to EPFand ETF.
