

Minister of Labour Relations and Manpower will be addressing the second annual general assembly of the Lanka Business Coalition on HIV and AIDS at the Hilton Colombo today .
To date over 60 Multinationals/Large Local Corporates and SMEs have aligned themselves to this Business Coalition who are committed to bringing together the Government, the business community and civil society in the national response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
The CEO’s and Heads of Businesses of all member companies in attendance at the meeting will also be spoken to by Dr Ramnik Ahuja, Advisor (Health) with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). She is also an Adviser to the Indian Business Trust for HIV/AIDS. She has been heading the Public Health Division of CII for the last 5 years and at present is involved in synergizing the corporate role in implementing Public Health programmes including projects across various public health issues. Presently she also spearheads the Global Fund Project Round 4 - to set up Corporate ART Centres across the country- as a precedent for companies across the world.
