All pilgrims attending the Madhu Church festival, which is being revived after two decades, will have to be registered at the entrance to Madhu.

Over 500,000 pilgrims are expected to participate in the festival, which could not be held for two decades due to LTTE activities.

The festival begins on August 14. The leaders of pilgrim groups would be asked to fill in forms in triplicate giving details of all persons in their respective groups.
