

Coca Cola Beverages which has been launching new soft drinks in Sri Lanka in recent months last week announced the launch of Fanta Cream Soda – the newest addition to the Fanta portfolio.
Coke has now entered the Cream Soda category pioneered by Elephant House and later taken up by other players in the soft drinks industry.
Coca Cola Beverages said that the new drink has been introduced after extensive research to suit the local palate.
"Cream Soda is extremely popular among all age groups in Sri Lanka and the launch of Fanta Cream Soda is set to provide the consumer with a superior experience of this popular brand," a news release issued in connection with the launch said.
The drink will be made available in several bottle sizes including 300 ml. and 500 ml. returnable glass bottles and 500 ml and 1.5 liter PET bottles.
"Fanta Cream Soda, a brand associated with fun and vibrancy is targeted at the fun loving youth of today with its unique flavour and taste," Coke said.
This drink is the third brand to come under the Fanta umbrella after Fanta Grape Portello launched earlier this year and Fanta Orange which is claimed to be the leading orange brand in the country.
Fanta Cream Soda will come in what its makers called the same `funky’ bottle launched in August last year which "was a tremendous success among the youth.’’
