Justin Galapaththy among rebels?

Media Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena yesterday said
at a press conference that a group of UNP politicians including members of the Southern Provincial Council and local bodies in the Southern Province would shortly join the SLFP.He said that 18 UNP councillors would switch their allegiance to the SLFP-led coalition. Some of them would pledge their support to President Mahinda Rajapaksa next week. The rest would join in batches in the run up to the SPC polls. Responding to The Island queries, Minister Yapa said that the incumbent SP Councillors would contest the SPC polls on the government ticket.

Mangy attacks ‘Adults Only’ movies ban
Criticizing a recent Government declaration that screening of ‘Adults Only’ movies would be banned, Mangala Samaraweera, MP said that the Rajapaksa Government was now acting like the Taliban.
