The JVP yesterday said that a party supporter had been seriously wounded in an attack carried out by an UPFA gang Tuesday night near Medawala junction. A party spokesman told The Island that the victim had been admitted to government hospital at Uva Paranagama. He said that attackers had removed some gold jewellery worn by JVP supporters.
