Perhaps it was a good omen for the boys because it was on the day of the show that the news came of the win of Mr. Sri Lanka 2009 vieying for the Mr. International Model of the Year, and winning it at the competition that was held in Spain. There was music, song and a variety of dances performed by several troupes including those of Channa and Upuli school of dancing and Sensations from Himali Samarasinghe. In the audience who were let in without any payment were Angela Senevairatne who was a Judge, Nilmini Tennekoon in a dazzling saree, Shamara Herat in a old gold saree worked in a design of roses, and ofcourse Vasana who wore a white saree coin dotted in silver sequins, with a elizabethan collared vibrant turquoise blouse. The production was well done with the only flaw perhaps being the time the show took with so many items and many being called up on stage for various favours granted.
