The key doubles pair of national level at present,
Rajeev Rajapakse and Harshana Godamanna, got the better of one of the
best all time doubles pairs for Sri Lanka at Davis Cup, Rohan de Silva
and Jayendra Wijeysekera, with ease 6-3, 6-1, 6-3 on the penultimate day
of this year’s Colombo Championship open ranking ‘A’ grade tennis
tournament at the SLTA - Playing Section clay courts at Green Path on
Saturday (8).
With the awards ceremony of the tournament is fixed for
today, the Mixed Doubles finals is to get under way at 4 p.m. as the
last event.
