Four half centuries, from skipper Daniel Vettori, Ross Taylor, Brendon McCullum and Daniel Flynn, put touring New Zealand on top with a 278-run lead on day-2 of their three-day tour match against SLC Development XI at Colts grounds, Colombo, yesterday.
