IMF Loan and CEB (Liquid Natural Gas Plant)

A news item in your Financial Review of 10th Aug. states/"CEB is expected to break even by end of 2011 according to the undertaking made to the IMF in a Letter of Intent (LoI)"

Perhaps this could be possible if and when the Norochcholai Coal Power plant is commissioned to produce 300MW (first stage) in early 2011. But the important question and a matter the government should earnestly consider is wether the inclusion of a Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) power plant, which is reportedly rejected by the CEB and aversely commented on by the World Bank (WB) USA1D, FA1CA and our own CEB engineers, Local experts, could meet the conditions stipulated by the 1MF.

In fact, it is best that the IMF does an independent study to satisfy themself.
