Dear Readers,

What do you think of Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama’s unlimited foreign travels?

Hit the apple with a pithy one-liner on the issue written on it and win a prize. Please make it short and to the point.

Responses will be published daily from Monday to Friday, when the winner will be named.

Try to spare the head on which the apple rests but if you really want to do otherwise, so be it! However, we reserve the right to edit responses to keep them within the confines of decency and the law.

An IMF loan being another long rope to MR. Siyambalapitiya "And Company" at the Diyawannawa asylum to hang themselves with. But "And Company" are master adapts at saving their own necks and plunging the noose down on the suffering masses.

Of Siyambalapitiya,,

If I were to tell,

he is Lanka’s saviour,

Who without a failure,

Is borrowing enough funds,

To feed both - wise and dunce.

Government will enjoy the loan

and throw us a rotten bone.

Loan conditions terrible.

Government requirements horrible.

Siyambalapitiya in a state of comedy.

Country will be in a real tragedy.

Trotting round the globe

To the west, east or IMF

Borrowing billions but,

Who could say we are poor

With hundred ministers

Running in Limousines.
