Two adults were buried alive and two children seriously
injured when their house was buried in a land slide at Galekele in
Ududummbara on Wednesday night around 10.00 p.m.
The sliding earth from the hill dragged the house and a
boutique down to a distance of 15 meters, Ududumbara Police said.
The deceased were identified as Selvathamby Mahendra
(43) and his wife Kanagamma (40). Their injured children Sivakumaran
(11) and Wijendran (8) were hospitalized.
