Two Pakistanis, recently arrested by the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) in Colombo on a charge of heroin smuggling had visited Colombo 17 times since November last year. They have come through the Bandaranaike International Airport without being detected though their frequent visits should have alerted authorities.
The two Pakistanis had arrived in Colombo for the first time on September 2, 2009.
