Mohamed Shahul Hameed of Wellampitiya, a diabetic patient, whose leg has been amputated, earnestly requests public assistance/zakath to purchase a three-wheeler.

A father of three, he had been a three-wheel driver prior to the surgery in 2006. He was compelled to sell the three-wheeler to meet his medical expenses.

"I have fixed an artificial leg last year and since then I am able to walk with aid of a walking stick and I need assistance to purchase a three-wheeler to make a living for my family," he pleads.
