Having entered the Card Industry in 1992, Seylan Bank today is one of the largest Visa Card issuers in Sri Lanka offering, an array of Card types to suit its large clientele.

Seylan Bank launched the 1st ever VISA Debit Card in Sri Lanka in 200 1, and issued it over the counter in 2004 also for the first time in Sri Lanka. The Seylan Visa Traveller’s Card which is also another first to the was introduced in March 2005. Further, in ‘October 2005 the Seylan Visa Pre-Paid Card was launched for the 1st time in Sri Lanka by Seylan Bank. Seylan Bank is also the first and only Bank to absorb the cost of Stamp Duty on Credit Cards since 2006.

Seylan VISA Gold Debit Card was also one of the firsts introduced to the market by Seylan Bank in 2007.

The Seylan Titanium MasterCard which comes in a unique design will be issued to elite clients.

Seylan Master Titanium Card members will be exempted from a Stamp Duty of I%. Discounts round the year, Interest free Instalment schemes from a range of leading merchants such as Abans, Singhagiri, Siedels, Softlogic, Swarna Mahal, Mallika Hemachandra, Dinapala Trading, PETCO Lanka, PC Partner, Hunters Ltd, EPSI Computers, Dialog TV and many more. Under the Grants scheme Card members are entitled to claim upto 10%-15% on Wedding Reception Bills, Surgical and Hospitalization Bills, School Fees for Children and get a free ‘Tikiri’ minor Savings account with a balance of Rs. 1,000/- at the event of Child birth, Free SMS alert service will be provided to update the Card members on day to day transactions.
