Ratnam SC posted a 6 goals to 1 victory over Jupiter’s SC to remain unbeaten in the group A segment of the on going Dialog Champions league soccer tournament, last Wednesday at the FFSL ground Kelaniya. With this victory, Ratnam SC become the leading team in group A. Having played 3 matches so far, they have won two of them while one match ended in a draw. Thirty matches out of sixty have now been played and Ratnam SC is leading the points table with seven points followed by Renown SC. Renown SC beat Saunders SC by 3 goals to 2 last Wednesday at the City Football Complex to become the only other team to remain unbeaten in group A along with Ratnam SC.

Meanwhile SL Army SC lead group B with 6 points and are followed by Don Bosco SC, New Youngs SC and Blue Star SC. They all gained 6 points each, winning two matches out of three.

The matches of the Dialog Champion League will continue till mid of November with 12 teams contesting the Championship .The tournament is conducted by the Football Federation of Sri Lanka and is sponsored by Dialog Telecom.
