Royal held to a draw
After Kaushalya Gajasinghe top scored with 112 runs for Mahinda College to post 273 for seven declared, Royal College posted 229 runs for nine wickets as their Inter School Under-19 two day match ended in a draw at Reid Avenue, yesterday.
While Udara Jayasanka remained unbeaten on 62 for Mahinda, Chalaka Bogoda and Charutha Ragaratne scored half tons for Royal.

After managing to post just 145 runs in the first innings, Taxila College, Horana did well in the second innings as Aruna Kumara top scored with 93 runs to post 241 to hold to a draw against Asoka Vidyalaya at Horana, yesterday.
