The Challenge –
Recoup lost opportunities....... With the resurgence of the tourism industry in Sri Lanka in the last four months a point that we need to keep in mind is that the latest WTO report states that tourism is yet one of the world’s largest foreign exchange earners with the industry estimated to be around 800 billion dollars and visitor numbers crossing the 900 million globally. The growth had been ignited with the launch of e – commerce where a holiday can be booked and paid for in ones own cozy home. |
