KANDY – The Panwila Police on Saturday (24) took into custody four men including a Pradeshiya Sabha member with carcasses of two deer, a fire arm and live ammunition in a vehicle they were travelling in.

Investigations have revealed that the suspects, all residents of Akurana, were returning from a hunting expedition in the Knuckles Forest Reserve.

Police said that the suspects would be produced in courts today.
