The Indian and Sri Lankans cricketers will be provided additional security during their stay for the third ODI of the bilateral series scheduled to be held in Cuttack on December 21.

"Since some Indian players are given Z Plus security as per the decision of the Central government and the Sri Lankan players are to be treated as national guests, we are bound to give a great deal of emphasis on security of players for their stay in Orissa," Orissa Cricket Association President Ranjib Biswal said.

The decision on enhanced security was taken at the OCA’s annual general meeting on Sunday keeping in mind the attack on Sri Lankan players in Pakistan earlier this year, he said.
