Asoka trounce Sri Sumangala

Off spinner Sandun Jeewantha finished with a match bag of eight wickets which included a five wicket haul in the second innings (10-4-5-9), for Asoka Vidyalaya to record an innings and 184 run victory over Sri Sumangala College, Kandy, in their match which ended at Mahara Prison Grounds, yesterday.

Lakruwan impresses in Bandaranaike win

All rounder Thilina Lakruwan followed up his run-a-ball 100 with a match bag of 12 wickets for Bandaranaike College, Gampaha to record an inning and 56 run victory over St. Xavier’s College, Marawila, in their match which ended at Gampaha, yesterday.

Kalhara and Nazeer star in draw

A good double of 85 runs and five wickets by Oshan Kalhara for St. Servatius’ College, Matara and six wicket hauls by Ashik Nazeer and Rehan Rizvi for Carey College were the highlights as the match between the two schools ended with a first innings win for the home team at Uyanwatte Stadium, Matara, yesterday.
