Walpita plays anchor role for Thomians
Skipper Dinesh Walpita anchored the late order with an unbeaten 53 runs for S. Thomas’ College to post 148 for eight wickets at close, after a first innings loss to Isipatana College in their Inter School Under-19 match which ended at Colts Grounds, yesterday.
Leg spinner Anushka Samaratunga starred for Isipatana with a match bag of 11 wickets.
