The police investigating the death of a 25-year-old woman due to severe burn injuries have arrested her husband. A senior police official told The Island that she had been admitted to the National Hospital on October 27 with burn injuries but succumbed to her injuries on the following day. He said that the victim’s husband had been detained in connection with the investigation conducted by Peliyagoda Police. (SF)
