The Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) says that registration for the premier ICT event in Asia – e-Asia 2009 — has now commenced.

The e-Asia 2009 conference and exhibition will take place at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall from 2nd to 4th next month.

Representatives from 24 countries are scheduled to participate in the conference. ICTA Chairman and Senior Advisor to the President Professor P. W. Epasinghe says that by now more than 200 papers from all over the world relating to new models in the information and communication technology sector have been lined up to be presented at the conference.
