An expatriate holidaying at a hotel in Narigama, Hikkaduwa has complained to police that his lap-top computer worth Rs 87,000 had been robbed from the room he occupied.

The victim is an Italian national employed by an NGO.

He had told police that the robbers had broken open the door of his room and removed the computer.
