Sachithra takes six for SSC
Sachithra Senanayake, the 24-year-old opening bowler for SSC, took six wickets for 114 runs in a long spell of 41 overs against their neighbouring rivals NCC, the current table leaders of the tournament. NCC, though, made a decent total of 296 for eight in a match began at their home grounds on Friday (6). That was in one of the six round-6 matches of this season’s Premier League three-day cricket tournament.
Meanwhile Bloomfield and Badureliya SC hold the second and third places respectively in the tournament points table. There are 12 teams that are taking part in this year’s Premier League.
