The only way Europe would understand the plight of the poor unemployed from the 3rd world is to export more people from the 3rd world to Europe. If Europe discontinues GSP plus, then the Sri Lankan Government should actively encourage the migration of young people who would be thrown out of employment from the closing down of factories. We should not discourage people from using any available means to get out. We should in fact encourage it . This would open the eyes of Europe. If Europe thinks we have abused Human rights, then they can take more migrants from Sri Lanka. One has to hit where it is most effective. Migration from the 3rd world to Europe is the trump card for us to get back GSP+.
