Senior General Than Shwe, leader of the Military Government of Myanmar will arrive in Colombo today (Oct 12) on a State visit. Since the last presidential election in November, 2005, the Sri Lankan government has enhanced its relations with Myanmar with President Mahinda Rajapaksa recently paying a visit to that country.
