Meanwhile the ITF has recently sanctioned Sri Lanka to host two wheelchair tennis tournaments next year. As a result, the Sri Lanka Open will be held next March as usual and the Singhalese Sports Club (SSC) Open is fixed for next July.
The two events are regarded fine opportunities for local wheelchair tennis players to collect important ITF ranking points.
