President Mahinda Rajapaksa shares a light
moment with visiting Indian Finance Minister Pranab Muhkargee at
Temple Trees on Sunday (Nov 15). He delivered the Kadirgamar
memorial lecture last Friday in Colombo. He said that a post-war Sri
Lanka had an opportunity to usher in permanent peace and stability
for all her communities by ensuring that minorities enjoy the
same rights and privileges as enjoyed by the majority community. He
said the effective elimination of terrorism and secessionism from
Sri Lanka had given an opportunity to address the legitimate
grievances of all communities. Pic Chandana Perera |
