A luxury boat service will be launched from Hambantota to Galle Face, Colombo soon to boost tourism, Highways Minister J. B. Ekanayake told ‘The Island’.

He said that a Singapore firm has expressed willingness to fund the project. It will take only one hour to reach Colombo from Hambantota by these boats while it takes six hours to travel by bus.
