Over 200 patients seek treatment daily from the Hiniduma Hospital following an outbreak of viral fever in Hiniduma and the adjoining areas.

By Monday afternoon, the Hospital had admitted nearly fifty patients for treatment while over hundred were treated at the OPD.

District Medical Officer for Hiniduma, Dr. M. A. Kuruppuarachi said hundreds of people living in the Neluwa, Habarakada, Opatha and Tawalama areas had sought treatment.
