Thirteen GCE Advanced Level students of the Moneragala Royal College yesterday received minor injuries due to an accidental blast of a test tube.

A spokesperson for the College said that at the time the blast, the students had been engaged in an experiment using chlorine.

The wounded were admitted to the Moneragala hospital.
