The Taj Samudra Hotel turned the lobby and the
restaurant into a little bit of Morocco when they had a food promotion
from this country. The food was certainly a delight and appealed to the
Sri Lankan pallette. To add further ambiance were the staff clad in the
costumes of Morocco, and the highlight was the belly dancer specially
out and the Chef Sulaiman who was accompanied by his wife Rama, both of
whom relaxed after a long day puffing from a hookah.
A small group from the media was entertained one evening
and a warm welcome was extended by the MD and his staff with the Public
Relations Manager Niranga Gunaratne to guide and recommend the
specialities that contributed to an enjoyable meal.
