KANDY - A senior undergraduate was arrested by the Peradeniya police for allegedly assaulting a fresher.

The victim had complained that he was assaulted by the suspect at the university canteen.

The suspect, a third year Arts Faculty student, was remanded till November 26 by the Kandy Chief Magistrate Sumudu Premachandra.
