The Sri Lanka Cancer Society Moratuwa Branch has served the cancer patients of Moratuwa for the past 60 years. The Society has 60 patients registered with their society and each patient is given a grant of Rs. 750 monthly. They also assist them to solve their urgent needs.

A Christmas party for the patients will be held on December 1, at the Lagoon View Hall, Moratuwa.

Priyantha Gamage, a well known award winning magician, will perform to entertain the patients. Music will be provided by Clinton Gunawardena, reputed for his skills in playing the organ and singing. The decor will be handled by sponsors.

A patient is entitled to bring two members of his/her family. Refreshments will be served. A few party games will take place to keep the patients happy and the organisers intend giving every patient Rs. 3,500 for Christmas.

The Cancer Society requests donors to help them make this event a great success. All cheques should be drawn in favour of the Sri Lanka Cancer Society - Moratuwa Branch.
