Thirty suspected of having ‘swine flue’ hospitalised Three dead
A spokesman for the Karapitiya Hospital said 30 patients suspected of having contacted swine flu had been warded at the hospital. Three of them had died.

The source said it was confirmed at least 10 of them were suffering from swine flu.

Two nurses and a female doctor attached to the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital too had contacted the disease, he said.

When contacted, the Director of the hospital Dr Priyani Senadhira declined to comment.
