A police team from Vavuniya yesterday discovered a stock of explosives hidden by the LTTE on the Vavuniya-Mannar Road, Rasenthrakulam.

A suicide bomb kit and five claymore mines were among the seized items, police said.

The police team was led by ASP Russel de Soysa.
