Sri Lanka Air Force won both the men’s and women’s titles at the National Judo Championships organised by the Judo Association and held at Wickramabahu College, Gampola, on November 27 and 28.

Air Force won six gold medals out of 11 in the men’s events and six golds out of nine in the women’s events.

A total of 200 judokas from all over the country took part in the championship.

The chief guest at the occasion was Minister of Plantations, D. M. Jayaratne.
