Responding to former Army Chief General Sarath Fonseka’s
pledge on Sunday (Nov 29) to defeat President Mahinda Rajapaksa, whom he
called a tin pot dictator, Minister Dallas Alahapperuma yesterday said
that the Opposition had conveniently forgotten that dictators did not
believe in elections.
