KANDY - The Sri Lanka Transport Board’s service between Kandy and Jaffna suspended due to LTTE terrorism, will resume on December 18.

The first bus bound for Jaffna will leave the Kandy Goodshed bus stand at 3 a.m. on December 18.

The service will be operated by the Kandy CTB North Depot and the Yatinuwara Depot, CTB Kandy Provincial Chairman Mahinda Basnayaka said.

Special security for buses between Vavuniya is to be provided.

Early reservation of seats in the Kandy-Jaffna buses are made available.
