The retail business centre was opened by the President on the invitation of the Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Bandula Gunawardana.

The objective of the opening of the centre is to enable the consumer community of Kandy to purchase consumer goods at reasonable prices and without scarcity, Minister Bandula Gunawardana said.
